PEMAS Network

The PEMAS association is a Network of Portuguese companies for the aerospace industry. The specific objectives of the group are:

1. To integrate national aerospace projects;
2. To integrate international aerospace projects (Europe, United States and Brazil);
3. To participate in the definition of public policies for the aerospace industry.

The PEMAS open network aims at integrating challenging cutting edge technology projects.
PEMAS is a private non-profit organization formalized in February 2006.

Joint Portuguese Aerospace and Defence Sectors on the Farnborough 2010 and Paris 2011 Air Shows

On the last 15th of September, AICEP – Portugal Global presented the project for a first common national joint participation on the Farnborough International Airshow 2010 and International Paris Air Show - Le Bourget 2011. AICEP’s President, Dr. Basilio Horta, announced the project on the 7th Framework Programme Seminar, and latter, presented, in detail, to the organizations as PEMAs, OGMA, TAP, EMPORDEF, DANOTEC, PROESPAÇO, PCT Mobilidade and Pool-Net.
Such initiative converges with the strategic line of PEMAs in the promotion of the National Aerospace Sector, and by that, the association already expressed its total interest and support. PEMAS is considering a joint participation between its members, one that augments the sense and third party sensibility to the cooperation between the members and partners as its visibility.
PEMAs Association considers this initiative of up most and strategic relevance, not only for allowing a unprecedented projection of the Portuguese Aerospace Sector, as for fomenting an better dialogue amongst the participants and the rising of the awareness towards the importance of a joint effort on an highly competitive market.
